We had a wonderful Fine Arts Enrichment day at Columbia. Started with a performance by the Centennial Band. Followed by rotations learning dance, music, art, and weaving. Shared a picnic style sack lunch with our classmates. Then ended the day performing the Wednesday dance as a whole school. So much fun learning.

Candy sales have started. Keep up the awesome job of selling all those chocolate bars. Let's try to sell them all to support programs at Columbia!
All money from candy sales is due by February 8.
STEM and Book Fair Night is tonight (1/24). STEM events are 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Book Fair is open 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. We will have slime, race cars, rockets, planetarium, robots, and so much more. All STEM activities are free and open to the whole family.
After school program begins on Wednesday, January 25. All students should have been contacted as to their class placement. We are excited to announce we have opened up a PE for 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders on Tuesdays & Thursdays. If your child is interested, they can pick up a form in the office and get it turned in so we can try to get them started this week.
January 23 is our Coulumbia food distribution.

Good news for our after-school program! We have openings in both our SEMAA and Reader's Theater classes. SEMAA (M/W) is now available to 1st and 2nd graders and Reader's Theater (T/Th) is available to Kinder and 1st grade. Please use the paper registration or online link, found below, to sign up your child for one of these amazing classes.
Don't forget, those that registered, that classes will officially begin next Wednesday, Jan 25th. Acceptance letters will be delivered to students tomorrow (1/20).

It's almost time to get back into the swing of school. Classes resume for the spring semester on Thursday, January 5 @ 8:00 a.m. It will be cold, make sure to dress accordingly.
