Drop-off bins will be located in the main lobbies of MountainView Regional Medical Center and Three Crosses Regional Hospital, and at Central Office in the Karen M. Trujillo Administration Complex.

Arrowhead Park Early College High School Trunk-or-Treat, sponsored by their Student Government, is inviting all Columbia students to their event on Saturday, October 29th. See photo for more details.
Columbia's Trunk or Treat Fall Festival is next week on Friday, Oct. 21. Admission and all Columbia activities are free and there will be some paid activities, food, and haunted house provided by various Centennial clubs. We need your help in providing prizes and candy for our booths & trunks. Please send bags of individually wrapped candies or prizes to school with your child by Thursday, Oct. 20.
Free Flu Shots & Omicron Boosters for LCPS staff and families will be offered on Monday, October 10, through Thursday, October 13th, from 2:00pm-6:00p.m. at the LCPS Operations Center 505 S Main St, Las Cruces, NM 88001. Anyone who is aged 12 years or older and have completed their primary series qualifies to receive the new bivalent Omicron booster. Must be at least 2 months since last COVID vaccination.

We will have our College and Career Enrichment Day in the morning on Friday, October 14. Make sure you are present to hear from a variety of local community members share their career knowledge with you.
Join STEAM Saturdays! Learn more about transportation through science, technology, engineering, art, and math every month at the Las Cruces Railroad Museum, located at 351 N. Mesilla St. STEAM Saturdays will be held on Oct. 22, Nov. 26, and Dec. 17 from 11am-12pm.

In honor of New Mexico Grown Month (September 12th – October 7th), the Nutrition Services Department served locally grown meals today to students and staff in every school. This means 100% of the items and ingredients that went into preparing the main meals came from our local farmers and ranchers across New Mexico. Check out these delicious tacos!

Hispanic Heritage Month is observed annually from September 15 to October 15. It is a time to appreciate and celebrate the colorful cultures, rich histories, and diversity of the American Latino community. The idea for Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated throughout the latter half of September and the first half of October, began as a way to promote the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic-Americans — specifically, those whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. Communities mark the achievements of Hispanic and Latino Americans with festivals and educational activities.

Could your child benefit from tutoring? Sign them up for Tutoring by Two! Tutoring by Two is an online tutoring service created by two LCPS students, Lauren To and Nyasia Lambert-White. Both students attend Arrowhead Park Early College High School and created Tutoring by Two during the pandemic when schools at LCPS went into remote learning in 2020. Tutoring by Two provides tutoring services from kindergarten math to Algebra 2. Tutoring by Two also offers 3 types of help: lesson review, homework help, and test review.
